The Porsche Customer Brochure for 1976/77

This page includes four images - the front cover of the Porsche 1976/77 brochure, the two pages of the brochure that describe the Carrera 3.0 and a two page panorama of the complete Porsche range.

The cover of the brochure shows the front of a Guards Red 911 Turbo. The Turbo included many design features common to the rest of the 911 range, some of which can be seen here: the large 'impact' bumbers with their upstanding headlamp washer jets (soon to be discontinued) and the familiar driver's side door mirror. Click the image for a view of the Turbo across the front and rear covers of the brochure. Click any of the following images to see a larger version (you'll need JavaScript turned on to do this).

The Carrera 3 featured in the brochure is a lovely coupe - these days, manufacturers tend to load their featured cars with optional extras to make them look more desirable, but Porsche refrained from doing this with the Carrera 3. Instead, the emphasis was on the timeless elegance and style of the classic 911 shape. The second page of the Carrera section includes content on the features and technical specification of the car. The pictures show the classic interior layout of the 911, the driver's electric door mirror, the thermostatically controlled heating system and the rear wash wipe. The final pages from the 1976/77 catalogue show the Porsche range for that model year:
